Hi
peeps! It has been about three month I didn’t post anything here and now, I
finally get my feeling in writing on a normal keyboard again. Yes! All that
terrible days without normal keyboard are over, i seem to be that one who just
ended her hibernation time and go back to reality (hats up!!!). Anyway, how’s
your life? You should be fine and happy as you get your wishes granted ofc,
this world won’t give you happiness unless you make your own, so make your life
worth! That’s it! Well done for opening, we should end this small talk and what
are we gonna do then? Just scroll this page down and read, there are manythings
that i want to show you more about this world, about some simple things outside
yet complicated inside and kinda unpredictable things.
“Go explore the world and you will find your mind is narrower than you think.”
May has passed and gone in a blink of eyes, but all moments are well-captured and remain as it should be. Come to think of it, May has given me more lesson about tolerance, about how we appreciate things and how we see every things through both its plus and minus. I realize that every decisions we’ve made will always demand some consequences, neither the very best one nor the worst one. So, how? Silent won’t work and avoiding problems will lead you to another problems, the only way is to optimize the plus and minimize the minus. That’s true, there always be two separated part, those who get the good and those who get the bad. In fact, we couldn’t rely on win-win solution in life, there always be that party who throw a game for the sake of something. Yes, that’s life!
This post is actually part of my randomness, made by experience and most of them are coming from my mind. First, do you read anonymous quote above? Yap, i’d like to tell you and tell myself one thing, “Don’t ever let your mind get focused on one thing, this world is widely diverse and has many side. Go explore! Discover new thing and upgrade yourself!” That’s right, life is tough, win-win solution won’t work and restless road ahead is waiting, but you always have a choice, about to step backward or keep stepping forward and that’s yours, your right ofc! To sum up, i’ll share a story, one of lesson of life (wuihhh, berattt) that i got on May.
May has given me an experience of two side coin, ofc it was God’s plan. I witnessed the ironical side yet i was brought to see that i wasn’t the only one who think that way. That day, I was sitting alone, a group of girls came and sat next to me. They talked about something and their voice was too loud so that I could listen to their conversation (re: nguping). I could catch their main topic, it was about facilities in our campus, the latest policy about SPI and the newest issue about UKT which is get higher every year. Trust me, i didn’t have any intention of nguping but their conversation has stolen my attention, i couldn’t leave my position and i was enjoying that nguping moment (To tell you the truth, nguping isn’t that bad, hahaa)
What makes me get interested more and more to that conversation was because that group consist of various voice, various arguments and the way they combine those arguments was so magical (I admit it, I have to duplicate their way of discussing). They weren’t coming from student council or student organization, but some of them were joining community outside the campus. How did you know? They mentioned it in conversation (You really da real good ngupingers, Na!).
“Kenapa?”
“Karena aku pernah ngasih tahu beberapa temenku tentang segimana kerennya univ Big Five dan mereka malah ngomel-ngomel, bilang aku suka mbanding-mbandingin lahhh, enggak bangga sama almet lahhh! Hellloooo, gue begitu karena gue pengen raise up our standard. Iyaa gue paham, ketika kita masuk dunia kerja, kita ga bakalan dilihat almamaternya but the way we think and the way we explore the world will be one of the most important indicator buat menilai kinerja kita. Coba dehh lihat! Well, balik lagi ke SPI, as long as dibikin transparan dan perbaiki sistemnya, gue setuju.”
“Wejiaaat, curhat yaaaa bos?
“Wihhh, so sweet. Yaudah dehh yaaa, jalan udah diambil, aliansi udah bergerak, semoga hasilnya terbaik buat semua pihak, mahasiswa maupun univ sama-sama diuntungkan.
The conversation above is some points that i’ve gotten from nguping, actually they delivered their arguments more and more complicated, include the mix-up language they used, but I make it simple with the language you may know (I use Indonesian). You see? Can you guess? Just like what I’ve said before, through that nguping moment, i realize that i’m not the only one who think that way. I begin to understand that there are many people outside who have the same point of view as mine and i’m not the only one who has experienced that kind of situation. What situation is that? That is when I try to tell them about this and that, but their response aren’t good.
For your information, on May, there was a great student movement in my university. They were shouting out their voice and delivering their point of views about SPI. Their movement was claimed as one of the largest movement in this year because it was joined by many students from various faculty and various organization’s background. I did adore their movement, i got touched by those who consistently stand on the main essence of that movement and keep their head down in overcoming all arguments. Unfortunately, there were some of them who really have closed their eyes and think that their arguments were absolute. They called those people who didn’t have the same view as them as betrayer. They rose their volume, they talked as if they were on the right side and they really didn’t need any arguments of others. I felt sad for that kind of people ofc.
At that time, i was joining a competition so that i just read all the latest update of the movement from my smartphone and some of my friends. One of the most shocking news that I got during my competition was not about the movement, but the disagreement between my seniors and the war inside the war (what’s that?). The reason was so simple, yes, because of that kind of people who didn’t have any intention of listening to others arguments. In fact, those disagreement wouldn’t happen if that people want to listen and let others finish their words. That’s it!
Personally, for me, I hate that kind of people, they don’t deserve the name of student representation and they are the source of disunity. Its okay, you have your own arguments but still, you need to listen to other in order to find the solution together. If you just think that you, with your own mind are right and others are on the mistaken side, you will never really know the art of diversity and you’re the mistaken one. Even if you have your own ideology and hold onto it tightly, my respect won’t go to you because i’m so sick of that kind of people. However, your mind will never get upgraded unless you open it and share it with others.
So, my point of view about SPI is the same as the point view of that group of girls. Its okay for applying SPI, but we need to repair, remake and reorganize the system, make it transparent and make sure that SPI goes for those who really deserve it, following with its nominal. Personally, i don’t want to stop the dream of young generation of Indonesia (Maba) just because they couldn’t be involved in college life, but I also don’t want to see my university get its level down. I want both get upgraded, because I love them all!
Na, which side you are on actually? Neither this side nor that side, i prefer to see everything through many ways, I want to see everything through many perspective and i don’t want to get blinded just because I’ve claimed myself as part of one side. They may say that I couldn’t stand on one side, they may also say that I’m part of those who are pro-government or middle-top people. “Up to you! I stand for goodness not people,” that’s my answer. That’s right! I know and I really know it so well, we never really know how it feels until it happened to us, we never really understand a sick until we experience that sick by ourselves. What I wanted to say here is lets try to see everything closely, world is widely diverse and we will get nothing if we go for never-ending-demand. Don’t ask for upgrading yourself but you let others get downgraded by that.
To sum up, lets explore the world, don't let your mind closed, open it! See everything from many perspectives, combine it and make it worth! World offers manythings to be enjoyed. Upgraded yourself and be the reason of others to get theirselves upgraded.
Warm regard,
